Entry no. 4 : Flica – Rijk Kuttel
St. Helena Race 2024 – Flica
Flica is a J99, designed in the USA and built in France, she arrived in Cape Town in January 2023. She has since sailed in many inshore and offshore races , but this will be her first Ocean race.
She will be crewed by Rijk Kuttel, Chris Garratt and Theo Theunissen. Rijk and Chris have sailed many miles together, including 3 Cape Town Rio Races. Theo has been part of the regular Flica crew since her arrival in Cape Town. Being the youngest member of the crew, he will have to take care of all uncomfortable wet duties forward of the cockpit.
