Sulanga is a 48-foot Aluminium cat build in the Philippines by the Australian boat builder Tim Mumby.
She was brought by Klaus Wiswedel and the previous Owner from Borneo via Rodrigues to Cape Town at the end of 2019 to be ready for the 2020 Cape to Rio race in which she took part successfully.
Klaus who will skipper Sulanga, is not a newcomer to the St. Helena race having won the cruising class in 2015 on his Monohull “Avanti”.
Klaus and his crew are looking forward to St. Helena to enjoy the hospitality there and the incredible whale shark watching.
